Let us be direct: we are asking if you would make a contribution to fund an ad campaign to help us reach additional undecided, persuadable voters before early absentee voting begins in Michigan at the end of this month.

Here's why:

At the end of this week, we have to make an important payment -- a potentially campaign-deciding payment.

That's the day we have to send the money for additional ads we want to run in the weeks before early voting begins.

We're trying to go as big as we possibly can, because there are several outside groups spending to beat us – they’ve already spent $20 million on ads against Elissa, and we can expect more outside cash pouring into our race.

Plus, when early voting starts and someone casts their ballot, it's over and there is no going back with that person.
