I hosted panels on two issues important to Alabama and AL-07 — our proud legacy of voting rights and civil rights, and even college sports!

I had a great conversation with Coach Nick Saban and SWAC Commissioner Dr. Charles McClelland about the future of college athletics and how we can better support our student athletes.

I was also joined by voting rights experts and advocates for a Voting Rights Braintrust Session, where we discussed critical strategies to mobilize Black voters and strengthen our democracy.
