Listen, I know
who I am.
And I know what I represent — to my constituents, I represent a fighter
who will never stop working to make our communities stronger. To the
LGBTQ+ community, I’m an advocate who holds a powerful position of
visibility. But to the far-right extremists in this country? I am a
threat.
For Democrats, our power is in our diversity and always has been. As that
power grows, so do the attacks on what makes us diverse, and behind those
attacks are millions and millions of dollars from folks who are doing
everything they can to keep the status quo.

I am officially the Democratic nominee for Delaware’s only seat in the
U.S. House, and if I win this race, I’ll be the first openly transgender
member in Congress. That’s why we’re fully expecting right-wing
extremists, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, to ramp up their disgusting
attacks on me.
