While sitting in the Oval Office, the President of the United States said: "The postal service is a joke."

We already knew the postal service was in trouble, but now the president is outwardly attacking it. We can't let this happen. Now, more than ever, we are relying on the USPS and those delivering packages each and every day.

It's no coincidence that the president has decided to wage an all-out assault on this essential institution just as vote by mail became a national topic. This president's latest voter suppression tactic is dangerous -- to our health and our democracy. He knows exactly what he is doing each and every time he makes threats to the postal service.

We can't let this president's threats become a reality. We must stand together and protect the United States Postal Service.
