During last week's debate, we once again heard the GOP's dangerous plans to control a woman's ability to make decisions about her own body. We were reminded of a harsh reality: even our medical professionals are terrified to do their jobs for fear of legal prosecution.
No doctor should have to live in fear just because of the care they provide to their patients. That's why Kim has stepped up and helped introduce legislation to protect doctors who are simply trying to do their job without fear of retribution.
