I just got out of a finance call and I’m gonna be real with you: It was a slow weekend on the fundraising front.

Believe it or not, it’s already the middle of September — which means we’re just TWO weeks away from our FEC deadline and only seven weeks away from November 5th.

But this FEC deadline is a bit different than most. It’s our final quarterly FEC deadline before Election Day.

When we’re this close to the most important day of the year, we have to make sure Republicans can’t spot any vulnerability in our finance report.

We can’t give the GOP hope that there’s a chance of flipping battleground Michigan when we’re this close to the finish line.
