Hi John,

It can sometimes feel like pushing a boulder up a mountain when we fight year after year for basic rights, like the right to cast our vote.

But, what keeps me climbing that mountain is what could be. We are two months away from an election that could deliver a pro-voting rights majority.

That majority could pass groundbreaking voting rights legislation, the likes of which we haven’t seen since the Civil Rights Movement.

So, imagine with me, that we do win and we have the chance to PASS voting rights legislation:

Imagine a world where we don’t have to put up with Republican voter suppression. Where rules and laws that make it harder for people of color to vote are a thing of the past. Imagine that our elections are properly funded and we get the big money out of politics. Imagine we have a democracy that is truly democratic, of, for, and by the people.

That’s why I won’t ever stop fighting. And I hope you will stay in this fight with me, whether that means casting your vote proudly on November 5th, knocking doors to elect Democrats, or chipping in today to fuel our efforts.

We are two weeks away from a critical end-of-month deadline that will set the tone for the rest of the election, if you are able, a contribution for voting rights would be a huge help.
