You might not know this about me, John, but I’m a diehard Trekkie.

There’s an old saying (and a book, too) that says: All I Really Need to Know I Learned From Watching Star Trek.

Star Trek balances ambition with empathy, and in a lot of ways, shows humanity at its best: Curious, excited, and having left things like racism, misogyny, and homophobia in the past.

I can’t help but think about that when I look at what’s possible on November 5th, John.

We have the opportunity to boldly go where no one has gone before by electing our first woman president. It would be a monumental accomplishment in and of itself, but we’d also be defeating a tyrant in the process.

Warp speed and alien galaxies might be the stuff of science fiction (for now!), but we can still take one bold step towards a better future by electing Kamala Harris and Democrats across the country.
