Hello there,

The Stop AAPI Hate reporting center says there were 1,100 instances of racial discrimination just in the last two weeks of March. Racist attacks, both verbal and physical -- like the March 14 stabbing of a Hmong American family in Texas and an April 5 acid attack on a Chinese American woman in Brooklyn.

Trump’s racist repetition of “Chinese virus” has encouraged these incidents, and his failure to effectively address this pandemic hurts people of color everywhere -- with African American and Latino communities hit hardest by the outbreak.

Some Americans think racism should be declared a public health issue of its own in light of the recent attacks on people of color, while others don’t see any harm in Trump’s rhetoric. We need to know where you stand, so please tell us now:

Is Donald Trump racist?
