In addition to our work to 'flip' Democrat-held Senate seats into the GOP column during these 2024 elections, we also know we must hold every Republican Senate seat.
To that end, we have a developing situation that we need to call your attention to that is taking place in the state of Florida. Republican incumbent Senator Rick Scott is facing an aggressive challenge from Democrat nominee, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.
Two polls underscore the cause for concern: A Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey has Republican Tim Scott up by just 3% and the most recent Emerson Poll has Scott ahead of Democrat Mucarsel-Powell by only 1%. These margins are within the polling margin-of-error, which means this race is now a dead heat.
