Dear Friend,

Just a few weeks ago, we took care on the road with our Care Can’t Wait
Bus Tour. We made 9 stops in cities across the country to talk about the
importance of paid leave, and accessible, affordable and quality care for
all.

And now on National Voter Registration Day we’re making one final stop:
Your house!

You won’t want to miss this event! Join us on Tuesday, September 17 at 3pm
PT/6pm ET via Zoom. [ [link removed] ]Register now.

In this final stop on our bus tour, we’re bringing the rally to you, with
an incredible slate of speakers via Zoom.

We’ll hear a comedy set about care by comedian, actor, and activist Steve
Way (you might know him from the Hulu show Ramy) and speeches by attorney
and influencer Qasim Rashid, Caring Across Generations and National
Domestic Workers Alliance’s Executive Director Ai-jen Poo, and Kristin
Rowe-Finkbeiner, MomsRising’s Executive Director - all MC’d by comedian,
actor, writer, and producer Cristela Alonzo!

Plus, we’ll hear from care recipients, caregivers, and care workers -
including a MomsRising member who will be sharing her paid family and
medical leave story! -  from across the country on their stories and the
importance of advocating for care in the lead-up to the election.

You won’t want to miss this event! Join us on Tuesday, September 17 at 3pm
PT/6pm ET via Zoom. [ [link removed] ]Register now.

Right now, the average cost of aging and disability care at home is over
$50,000 a year, and for many families, infant child care costs more than
$14,000 a year on average. Meanwhile, care workers providing these
essential services remain underpaid without family-sustaining wages and
benefits. At the same time, we remain one of only 7 countries in the world
without paid family and medical leave for when a new child arrives or a
serious health crisis strikes. It’s clear that these tools for success are
needed at the federal level so people can work, families can thrive, and
we can all contribute to our communities.

You can help turn our collective voices into a powerful force for change.

We’ve got work to do. Together, we can make care a priority for all!
