Together, let's fight for working families!

John,

More than 30 million Americans have lost their jobs as a direct result of the pandemic.1 Now, Donald Trump and Lindsay Graham want to cut off help to those who need it most. That's an awful idea.

Graham has made it clear that he will oppose extending the federal $600 per week in jobless benefits when they run out―but we know the deep downturn is going to continue for many months, and more help will be needed.2

And instead of additional direct payments to people and families, Donald Trump is proposing undermining Social Security’s dedicated funding―another tax handout to corporations that does nothing for the 30 million unemployed.3

CHN is fighting back. We are demanding Congress remember the needs of working families as they prepare to introduce the next round of COVID-19 legislation―the CARES 2 Act―and get direct support to those who need it most, not more giveaways and bailouts for the rich and corporations.

Donate to CHN today to fight for direct payments to people throughout the country. Let's get Congress to focus on what's most important.

Trump and Graham are blocking essential support for families struggling to pay their rent just weeks after Congress bailed out corporations and wealthy business owners. In fact, publicly traded companies with CEO's earning multi-million dollar paychecks are getting massive federal cash infusions. Just look at this Washington Post headline:4

Public companies received $1 billion in stimulus funds meant for small businesses

We must fight back against Lindsay Graham and Donald Trump’s callousness. We need Congress to focus on the needs of vulnerable people, laid-off workers, and communities in need.

Chip in to CHN today to fight for direct payments to people who are struggling to make ends meet throughout the U.S.

Congress must be reminded that their priority is the American people. Not Corporate America.

Together, we are going to fight to make our voices heard throughout the halls of Congress and we are going to rebuild our economy by getting help to those who need it most.

Thank you,
