Bend the arc

Dear Friend,

Last night, hundreds of Jews and allies gathered online to get inspired and take action as Jews for Kamala. Together, we raised over $5,000 and filled dozens of phonebanking shifts!

Here’s your chance to join the movement. At JewsForKamala.com, you can:

Here are a few of the powerful calls to action we heard last night:

Rep. Jamie Raskin (MD-08):

“Some people feel it’s inevitable we’ll beat Donald Trump. It’s not inevitable, and it’s definitely not impossible. The wind is at our back and we’re picking up huge momentum, but we need everybody engaged every single day for the next 51 days to make this happen. We’re in the fight of our lives here for the future of liberal democracy. This will be the election that decides the future of American politics and government for the rest of this century, so we really dare not fail here.

Alysia Reiner, Activist & Actress,
Orange is the New Black

“I invite you to go to that joy right now of what it will be like when Kamala Harris is declared president, and really feel it in every cell of your body. Now what do we gotta do to get there? That’s the really big question. As a Jewish woman, that means action. I am going to donate, write letters, make calls, go to swing states, help people register. I am going to take actions from love and joy, not fear.”

Raven Schwam-Curtis, Gen Z Black & Jewish Educator, @ravenreveals

“Make no mistake: white supremacy, antisemitism, and authoritarianism are all woven into Trump’s dangerous vision for the United States. Trump’s MAGA movement seeks to silence the voices of those of us who dare to imagine a better, more expansive world, especially those of us who live at the intersection of multiple identities. As a Jewish community, we cannot afford to stay silent on these issues or stay on the sidelines.”

Leah Greenberg, Co-Executive Director, Indivisible

“You have an enormous amount of power over the next 50 days to reach your network and share what we know: that we have these two futures — a future of a promise where we can all thrive, and a future where we are facing the encroaching white nationalist fascist movement. These are the two realities we are choosing between, and the choice is coming up fast. You have the power to bring that to as many people as possible.”

Michael W. Twitty, Author,
Koshersoul

“I want a White House where dosa, chana masala, collard greens, kugel, brisket, and bbq, and rundown and jerk and festivals and challah share a table with hot dish. The Harris-Walz Administration is not about teams or being a partisan person. It’s about who speaks to my soul, my neshamah. We need our ruach back again. Ruach isn’t just the breath or change. It is the very spirit of Hashem. We need an opportunity to grow and progress … and make tikkun olam and get them in office. Donate like I’ve done, walk like I’ve done, and vote like I’m gonna do. And tell folks in your family, the entire universe depends on it.”

Last night, we heard that winning the election isn’t about the margin of error — it’s the margin of effort. In 2020, President Biden beat Donald Trump by fewer than 125,000 votes out of 18.5 million total votes cast.

Every dollar, call, door knock, text, and conversation between now and November is critical. Here are three ways you can take action right now:
