We launched Action Builder 5 years ago this month. This powerful, easy to use organizing tool was built hand-in-hand with organizers for organizers, drawing on time-tested tools organizers have used for decades — from wall charts and flip charts to notebooks and three ring binders — to grow power and win real change.

When we launched Action Builder, some asked why we would build a tool devoted to organizers and organizing. Our answer was simple: Because of course we love both! And we believed then as we do now that the key to building power and winning campaigns is building sustainable relationships and doing deep organizing.

Today, over 10,000 organizers at more than 350 organizations use Action Builder to build power. Action Builder has been used to organize workers at Trader Joe's grocery stores, to unionize Minor League Baseball, to power Working America's community engagement work, to train women to run for office and win with Vote Run Lead, and so much more.

Over the course of this birthday celebration, we're going to highlight more exciting wins achieved with the help of Action Builder, showcase some of the tool's most powerful features, and maybe even tease some exciting developments coming down the line.
