The Department of Justice’s (DOJ’s) Violent Crime Reduction Roadmap [ [link removed] ] (the Roadmap) is now on the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) website!

*About the Roadmap*

The Roadmap was developed as a one-stop-shop to assist local jurisdictions in developing, implementing, and evaluating the right set of strategies to prevent, intervene in, and respond to acts of community gun violence.

It is organized around Ten Essential Actions [ [link removed] ] to reduce community gun violence identified by the Council on Criminal Justice [ [link removed] ], and outlines how DOJ resources can support jurisdictions each step of the way.

*How to Use the Roadmap*

The DOJ’s Roadmap can be used to:

* Guide new anti-violence efforts by following the Ten Essential Actions.
* Assess existing community gun violence initiatives.
* Find resources, grant funding, and training and technical assistance to help stop violence and save lives.

Check out the Roadmap and get strategies, resources, training and technical assistance, and more to help meaningfully reduce community gun violence.
