Folks, we are closing in on the final sprint of this election cycle, and a Democratic majority in the House is *this close* to being a reality. But it’s not going to just happen by itself, so let’s talk about how we can get there. |
Right now, the balance of the House’s 435 seats is 220 Republican-held seats to 211 Democratic-held seats. (There are four vacant seats, three of which were held by Democrats, and one by a Republican.) Basically, come November, we just need four more seats and we’ll finally have the chance to govern the way the American people actually deserve. We can get those four seats a bunch of different ways, but one state everyone seems to agree is critical is – you guessed it – California!
