Treating obesity isn't simple. What works for you may not work for someone else. Medicare isn't allowed to cover the full range of proven anti-obesity treatments, but it could—if Congress passes the Treat and Reduce Obesity Act. If it became law, this bill would allow Medicare to cover nutrition counseling, behavioral therapy, and FDA-approved anti-obesity medications.
