Online, it can feel like we're really divided and it makes me feels really disconnected.

But just walking through the city, knocking on doors in every neighborhood in District 5, has made me realize that we're actually more alike than I would have thought.

We all want a lot of similar things.

San Franciscans are really compassionate — they want to live in a dynamic, connected city.
