There’s no use sugarcoating it: We fell just short of our
$150,000 mid-month fundraising goal.
We came incredibly close, but in a race this competitive, every
fundraising deadline is crucial in determining whether we win or lose.
Folks, this setback couldn’t have come at a worse time. Real
Clear Politics JUST shifted Maryland towards Republicans and our race is
now a toss-up.
With polls showing me tied with Republican Larry Hogan, every dollar we’re
short is potentially one more voter we don’t reach with our Maryland-first
campaign message.
The silver lining is that if we can bounce back and make September our
biggest fundraising month to date, we’ll be able to reclaim our momentum
and continue boosting our voter outreach through the final weeks of the
race.

of time to break the tie. Would you please help us make up for the recent
fundraising lapse by chipping in a grassroots donation of whatever you can
afford right now?
