Friend –
Please join us on Monday, September 16, at the National Press Club for our annual Membership Meeting and panel discussion on the stop-and-frisk practices of D.C. Police.
The evening will feature a powerful discussion moderated by Tracee Wilkins (Investigative Reporter with NBC 4) about the findings of a soon-to-be-released ACLU-D.C. report examining stop-and-frisk practices by the Metropolitan Police Department. The report reveals significant racial disparities in police stops, and our panel will dive into these findings while exploring solutions for achieving true public safety in the District.
