We at PJI are in the middle of taking on a major front in our battle for your liberty!
Since this is an election year, in addition to our legal endeavors, PJI is helping to lead a distinct initiative known as "The Church Finds Its Voice'' (CFIV), spearheaded by PJI's Pastor Liaison, Peter Mordh. Through CFIV, we are forging partnerships with churches across the nation to inspire and empower their members to register and vote in accordance with biblical principles. In fact, we are aggressively shooting for over 1000 churches to join our efforts this election. At PJI, we firmly believe that biblical civic stewardship is absolutely vital to uphold the legacy of freedom.
Here are some highlights from our recent endeavors:
- In California, our legal team has successfully challenged a local ordinance that sought to prevent religious gatherings. Thanks to our attorneys' diligent efforts, the ordinance has been revised to respect the rights of religious groups, setting a precedent for similar cases nationwide.
- In Texas, PJI attorneys have intervened in a critical case involving the rights of students to express their faith in public schools. Our work is helping to ensure that students have the freedom to practice their beliefs without facing discrimination or censorship.
- In Ohio, we have been advocating for parental rights in the face of legislation that seeks to undermine family authority by promoting gender confusion on their children. Our attorneys are working tirelessly to protect the rights of parents to make informed decisions in order to guard their children’s permanent emotional and physical well-being.
As relentless forces threaten the bedrock of our American heritage, Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) remains steadfast in our nearly three-decade mission to protect the core values of faith and liberty, all at no cost to people in need.
With 36 offices serving 26 states, our commitment to defending religious liberties and constitutional rights has never been more crucial. The calls for help continue to come from all corners of the country and I fully expect that we will have a PJI attorney in most, if not all, states within the next few years.
