We made a very difficult decision this week.

We had a meeting where it became clear that if we had a bit more money, we could make a real play for additional votes in the weeks before early voting begins.

The money wasn’t in the budget. But we gave the green light.

It’s a risk. We can’t get caught short in the budget after early voting begins and before the election ends. That'd be a disaster.

But the bet we made was that if we asked, you’d come through to help fill the gap. We hope that you will — for Elissa. To keep the Senate Democratic.
