Hi friend, it's Kirsten. I have an important update for you: We have 50 days until Election Day. 

This means we’re closer to protecting our Senate majority, the White House and, ultimately, our democracy. But I won’t lie to you, friend: The stakes have never been higher.

What happens on Election Day will determine the fate of our nation. And with the GOP continuing to attack our personal freedoms, it remains absolutely critical for us to do everything we can to defend our Senate majority from right-wing extremism. 

That's why I’m fighting in the Senate so we can certify the Equal Rights Amendment and restore reproductive rights nationwide, protect and expand Social Security and Medicare, prevent gun violence and keep our communities safe, lower the cost of living and win meaningful change for hardworking families in New York and across the United States.

But here's the bad news, friend: Republicans had historic victories in New York in 2022, and now, they're targeting my seat for defeat. 

I'm a strong believer that grassroots activism matters. I know that campaigns are won by the people who put in the work, big or small — from volunteers knocking on doors and stuffing envelopes to supporters turning out the vote and donating when you can. That's why I refuse to accept money from corporate PACs, friend. And why I'm counting on grassroots donations to compete with far-right megadonors. 

So please, friend: Will you chip in $5, $25 or whatever you can spare today to help me defend my must-win seat and save our Senate majority?
