Calling all youth animal activists! Do you (or youth activists you know) want to help create a kinder future for farm animals? Then keep reading!
It’s incredible to see all the young people across the globe who understand the destructive nature of animal agriculture. It’s even more amazing to see the way they use their voices on social media to advocate for change.
Introducing the Youth Pro-Animal Awards, a grants program for young animal advocates to receive grants and recognition to help these young voices maximize the impact of their social media activism. By supporting these changemakers, we want to highlight, celebrate, and empower a generation of communicators dedicated to the compassionate treatment of farm animals.
The Youth Pro-Animal Awards is an international competition that awards grants to impactful young activists (ages 13-19) who are using social media to drive progress in farm animal welfare.
To enter, simply head to our website to tell us about yourself and submit a 90-second video by September 24.
Your video will be watched by a panel of judges, including the inspiring Genesis Butler and Gene Baur.
Entrants will be judged by a panel based on their animal welfare impact, which will be highlighted by a personal video submission, their social media presence, and the work they have displayed. Submissions are open from September 16 to September 24, and online voting will be open to the public from September 30 to October 18.
Winners will be announced on October 25.
Prizes & Awards:
1 Gold Grand Prize ($3,000) — Overall Award (judges and voting)
2 Silver ($2,000) — Jury Award (judge panel)
3 Bronze ($500) — Audience Award (online voting)
In addition, a maximum of 50 winners will receive microgrants of $200.
