Trump Survives Second Assassination Attempt |
by S.A. McCarthy |
As of Sunday evening, former President Donald Trump has survived two assassination attempts. According to the FBI's Miami field office and the local sheriff's office, Trump was playing golf in West Palm Beach, Florida, when a gunman poked a rifle through the golf course fence, about 400 yards away from the former president. Secret Service opened fire before the would-be assassin, later identified as Ryan Routh, could manage a shot. Routh is reported to have dropped his gun and fled the scene. He was arrested later by the nearby Martin County Sheriff's office. |

Bomb Threats Overwhelm Springfield, Ohio as Nationwide Firestorm over Migrants Continues |
by S.A. McCarthy and Suzanne Bowdey |
Americans in Springfield, Ohio, are still suffering after the Biden-Harris administration dumped tens of thousands of third-world immigrants into their once-quiet city. Springfield resident and former teacher Diana Daniels told Fox News that life has been a "dystopian nightmare" since the arrival of nearly 20,000 Haitian immigrants over the past three years. "You hope you wake up and it's 2019 again, and then you realize it's 2024, and it's the same thing over and over again, day after day," Daniels said. "It's hard sometimes to get up in the morning and hear residents that I've known for years struggle. This is a paycheck-to-paycheck ... kind of town ... working class." |

It's been almost a year since the Hamas terrorist organization attacked Israel on October 7. The massacre left over 1,200 people dead and over 200 kidnapped - including women, men, and children. Since the attack, the Biden administration has made its support for a two-state solution clear. And now, with Vice President Kamala Harris running as the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, it appears nothing has changed. |

Study Tying Regular Church Attendance to Emotional Well-Being Points to Biblical Truth |
by Sarah Holliday |
The Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion wanted to know whether regular church attendance had an impact on emotional well-being. The researchers noticed that "most studies of religious service attendance and emotional well-being are only capable of evaluating 'trait' aspects of religious attendance, or long-term patterns and habits that form an attendance routine." But this group didn't want to know what caused a person to establish a routine. They wanted to know how a routine caused a person to feel. |

by S.A. McCarthy |
Ahead of Tuesday night's debate, most commentators and voters alike anticipated that former President Donald Trump's and Vice President Kamala Harris's performances would do little to sway voters one way or the other, but a series of recent polls suggests otherwise. On Thursday, Trump released internal polling data targeting seven battleground states, showing an increase in support for the man vowing to "Make America Great Again." |
