3. ADVOCACY EFFORTS

Dear Friend,

On September 21, the world will come
together for World Alzheimer's Day to give our fight to end
Alzheimer's disease and other dementia a powerful voice for all to
hear.

But World Alzheimer's Day is just one day. The nearly 7
million Americans living with this dreadful disease deserve to be
heard all year round. Advocating for their needs and rights is one
more reason why we must make the most of our World Alzheimer's Day 2X
Match Challenge.

Your support can help us do exactly that right now. Will you
make your first gift while it can do TWICE as much to advance critical
advocacy efforts, deliver essential care and support and drive
promising Alzheimer's research?

As a result of Association advocacy efforts, as much as $3.8
billion is being invested in Alzheimer's and dementia research
annually by the federal government. Thanks to our supporters -

* Advocates used digital platforms to make over 115,000
connections with state and federal lawmakers regarding public
policy priorities.
* The Association held more than 1,500 meetings with members of
Congress, including over 500 on Hill Day during the 2024 AIM
Advocacy Forum.
* The Association brought together state agency officials for the
State Dementia Services Coordinator (DSC) Summit in Washington,
D.C.
* The Association is able to advocate in all 50 states at federal
and state levels to secure access to U.S. Food and Drug
Administration-approved Alzheimer's treatments for those who
would benefit.

This World Alzheimer's Day 2X Match Challenge gives you a
chance to make a gift that can make twice the difference, thanks to a
generous supporter who wishes to remain anonymous. They have pledged
to match every gift we receive by midnight on September 21 - up
to $175,000 - and dedicate their gift to supporting Alzheimer's
research and local chapter events. That means

Friend, there
are just a few days before World Alzheimer's Day. That means time is
running out on our World Alzheimer's Day 2X Match Challenge.

Please don't let the September 21 deadline pass without taking
action. Please make your first gift while it can still go 2X as far to
give our fight a voice, provide help and hope for everyone living with
Alzheimer's, and drive our research momentum into the future.

On behalf of everyone in the

gift today will help - I thank you in advance for your
