MORE THAN A MAGAZINE, A MOVEMENT
FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK.....

Dear John,

We’re at a critical moment in each of our personal histories, in our movement’s history, and in the country’s history.

With just 57 days to go until the election—it’s now make-or-break time. It’s essential that each of us act with urgency and determination. [[link removed]] Act like our lives and the lives of our friends, kids, lovers, and anyone we care about depend on it.

Our Fall issue of Ms . contains vital information about the upcoming elections. Information about referenda in various states on abortion and equality, what the polling is saying about voters’ decision-making and what is driving the growing gender gap.

And most alarmingly, we explain how the Project 2025 you’ve been hearing so much about, will roll back more than 50 years of women’s progress.

We’ve pulled out all the stops to provide you the most informative, timely and accurate content and action advice.

But we need your help to ensure that this critical information reaches as many people as possible—especially younger voters. [[link removed]]

College students are back. Early voting starts in Pennsylvania in days. The fight for reproductive rights is raging now. Just-released polls indicate there's an ENORMOUS gender gap where college-age women voters are concerned—a whopping 27% .

This is our moment to seize. We must do everything we can to ensure younger women have the information they need and the maximum motivation to get out and vote. This is a pivotal group, and they could turn the tide in this election.

Ms . election and action information is needed on college campuses, online, in print and thru our podcasts. Everywhere young voters are. [[link removed]]

This is our moment, and it’s urgent. Funds are urgently needed in the next 15 days to cover the increased costs of distribution and reach every corner of this fight.

But we cannot do this without you. If you can contribute $20 or more, we’ll also send you a full year’s worth of Ms. directly to your mailbox. [[link removed]] Not only will you be helping us reach pivotal groups with essential election information, you’ll also be keeping yourself informed with each issue of Ms .

From now until the election—and until the results are clear—we’ll be delivering news and analysis that focuses on women and the issues they care most about.

We’re running out of time. The need is urgent, and the stakes are high. Your support will make the difference in ensuring we can protect these rights. [[link removed]]

Can I count on you?

P.S. Here’s a link to an interview [[link removed]] I did on MSNBC with Ali Velshi. It will give you a flavor of what’s at stake and why your help is so important in getting the word out. Thank you for helping.
