Grab some popcorn and join us *online* for a Boundary Waters film screening
We recently created a new educational documentary about the threat of sulfide-ore copper mining on the edge of the Boundary Waters and are hosting two online film screenings this weekend - tonight, Saturday, May 2nd at 6:00 p.m. CT and tomorrow, Sunday, May 3rd at 3:00 p.m. CT.
Additionally, after the 3 p.m. screening on Sunday, May 3rd at 3:30 p.m. we will have an online panel discussion featuring:
- Tom Landwehr, Save the Boundary Waters Executive Director
- Becky Rom, National Campaign Chair
- Steve Piragis, Owner of Piragis Northwoods Company
- Sam Cook, Duluth News Tribune Outdoor Writer
Please join us regardless of which screening you attend!

This film screening is a great opportunity to share your passion for the Wilderness with your friends and family, get updated on the latest Boundary Waters news, and enjoy the company of other folks who are also passionate about protecting this incredible place. Watch a sneak peek of the film here.

P.S. These film screenings are part of a week-long online fundraising campaign for nonprofits across Minnesota called Give at Home MN. We’ve got a great week of Boundary Waters content and events and we hope that you’ll join us all week long -- both by attending these online events and by making a gift.
