I think you and I may be fighting the same battle right now. We’re fighting to save our country by securing our border and defending our freedoms. We’re on the same team, right? Good. Now that we’re on the same page, allow me to introduce myself.

I’m Laurie Buckhout, Retired U.S. Army Combat Colonel, business owner, and lifelong patriot running for Congress.

I deeply love this country, and I’d do anything to fight for it. Trust me…I know what it takes to fight.

I served as an Army Colonel and I spent 26 years in the Army on assignments all around the world—because I know America is worth fighting for.

After leaving the Army I turned my focus toward raising my two boys, and that’s when I first realized that although I’d hung up my boots - I wasn’t done fighting just yet. Like any parent, I want the world my sons are entering to be better than the one we had growing up—full of opportunity, hope, and prosperity.

But right now, under Joe Biden’s failed leadership, it’s not, and I’m committed to fixing our broken government—for my family and for yours.

That’s why I’m lacing up my boots for battle again.

The stakes of this election couldn’t be higher. Our border is overrun, our cities are paralyzed by unchecked crime, and our enemies across the globe are emboldened.
