With presentations from John Inazu, Caleb Campbell, and Terri Crist, this conference will foster a unifying and informed approach through workshops, discussions, and presentations. Our sessions will explore pastoral strategies for cultivating understanding, peacemaking, and respectful dialogue among church members, fostering an environment where differing political views and cultural perspectives can coexist harmoniously. Our Confession of Evangelical Conviction AVC is proud to support the new “Confession of Evangelical Conviction." Napp Nazworth, AVC's Executive Director, is an original contributor to the confession. The press release for this groundbreaking statement says, "The Confession, released on Sept 5, is meant to provide a theological and scriptural anchor to a much bigger week of worship and prayer for Revival in America. Over ten thousand evangelical churches have already committed to participating in the week of worship and revival. These churches will lift up unified praise and prayers of over 4 million evangelicals through sermons, congregational confession and prayer, and music that incorporate and respond to the Confession, calling for the Holy Spirit to bring revival to the evangelical church." This new confession is "a powerful declaration of seven core beliefs signed by over 300 evangelical pastors and leaders, representing tens of thousands of churches and tens of millions of evangelicals across the country. Drawing on 39 direct Scriptural citations, the Confession calls on the church to choose faith over fear, reject all manner of political idolatry, and remember that Christ alone is Lord." AVC is thrilled to be part of this movement for prayer and renewal within the evangelical church in America. This movement is further amplified by a collection of creative resources designed to inspire and equip individuals and churches. These include: A new worship album: Composed by a collective of Christian artists, capturing the heart and themes of the Confession. Available on Spotify and all major music platforms starting Friday. Animated series: Created by Phil Vischer, the acclaimed creator of VeggieTales, offers an engaging and accessible way to explore the principles within the Confession—episodes released on Fridays. Devotionals: Developed by InterVarsity and others, providing daily reflections to deepen understanding and encourage personal application of the Confession’s message. The “Confession of Evangelical Conviction” is not just a statement; it’s a movement igniting hearts and minds. It’s a call to action for evangelicals to live out their faith with authenticity, courage, and love in every sphere of life.
