Hosting Service Academy Day
Yesterday, my office and I hosted a Service Academy Day at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins to help students and families learn about the many valuable opportunities our nation’s service academies have to offer.
These young Georgians are a dedicated group who will lead our country to a brighter future. Thank you to all who attended!

Advocating for Federal Assistance to Aid Recovery from Hurricane Debby
Hurricane Debby caused severe damage across our state that warrants federal disaster assistance. I joined the Georgia Delegation in sending a bipartisan letter to President Joe Biden expressing support for Governor Kemp's request for a major disaster declaration for many of our counties.
My colleagues and I will continue to work together to get the assistance our state needs to recover from this disaster.

Meeting with Veterans of Foreign Wars
It was an honor to meet with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) National Legislative Committee this week to discuss their priorities.
I am proud to represent our nation's veterans through my work in the House Armed Services Committee, and I look forward to continuing our efforts to provide the best possible care and support for them.
Meeting with CropLife America, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the America Chemistry Council
Last week in D.C., I met with representatives from CropLife America, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the America Chemistry Council to hear about their priorities to support our nation's manufacturers, farmers, consumers, and communities.
