Last week, Jim officially became our nominee for governor with nearly 70% of the primary vote. That’s a huge win for our team and shows that Mississippians are ready for new leadership.

But our opposition saw how excited people were to go out and vote for Jim, and there’s already an outside group running attack ads that slander Jim’s character and spread lies about his record of standing up for the people of Mississippi. It’s clear that they have a huge war chest, and to put it bluntly -- we’re worried.

We need to start stockpiling resources now so that we can fight back and keep our positive message on the airwaves. Can you chip in whatever you can to help fight these lies?

Jim has shown time and time again that he stands for working families, not special interests. While our opposition is attacking us with money from out-of-state corporations and mega-donors, Jim is focused on being a leader for our state and addressing the real issues.

These attacks aren’t going to stop any time soon. Jim has an impeccable record and popular support, so we can expect dark money groups to keep putting everything they’ve got into bringing him down all the way through November.
