Whether it’s calling out right-wing information or getting sunshine on bias in the legacy press – we believe strongly in our mission of delivering pro-democracy journalism and fighting right-wing misinformation. We view these emails as an extension of those values and beliefs.

We’re deviating from our regularly scheduled programming today because, as of right now, the 2024 election is only 6 weeks away, and our fundraising has really slowed down this month. 

We set a goal to raise $40,000 in September to fund our battleground newsrooms in the closing days of the election. With less than 12 hours from our mid-month deadline, we’ve raised just shy of $14,000 – meaning we’re still far from reaching our goal.
