supporters weekly to update them on what she's working on in Capitol Hill and
across NY-21.

Elise Commemorates the Anniversary of 9/11


On Wednesday, the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, Elise published an op-ed in the
Press-Republican honoring the precious lives lost on September 11, 2001.

“Twenty-three years ago on Sept. 11, 2001, the world witnessed the deadliest
terrorist attack against the United States in our nation’s history that cut
short thousands of precious lives.

We are eternally grateful for the courageous first responders, service
members, and citizens that came together in support of one another as the
towers fell. There were no strangers on Ground Zero, only patriots helping
their fellow countrymen and women. Through the rubble and amidst the dust and
destruction of that day, our nation vowed to not allow it to fade from our
memories. As we solemnly mark the 23rd anniversary of Sept. 11 and honor the
lives lost on that horrific day, we carry out our promise to never forget.”

President Trump Delivers Strong Debate Victory


On Tuesday, President Donald Trump took on Kamala Harris and two pro-Democrat
“moderators” from ABC in the second presidential debate. Delivering a strong
America First message and bold plan to Make America Great Again, President
Trump dominated for a second time.


Elise stated –


“President Trump delivered a powerful America First message directly to the
American people focusing on reining in inflation and strengthening our economy,
securing our border, and peace through strength foreign policy. Kamala Harris
tried to hide from her radical record supporting banning fracking, raising
taxes, defunding the police, and opening the border, but President Donald Trump
correctly held her accountable for failed Kamalanomics fueling inflation, her
role as Joe Biden’s open border czar, and her weakness on the world stage. The
ABC moderators were not journalists, they were pro-Kamala activists who
baselessly attacked President Trump leading to a 3 on 1 debate, while allowing
Kamala to lie repeatedly. President Trump won overwhelmingly and will win again
on Election Day.”

Holding Corrupt Cuomo Accountable


On Monday, the House Select COVID Committee released a bombshell report that
disgraced Governor Cuomo himself and his senior aides ordered, directed, and
executed the deadly nursing home executive order killing over 15,000 vulnerable
seniors confirming what hardworking New Yorkers have already known. This report
also reveals that the disgraced former Governor Cuomo and his top aides were
caught covering up their culpability and guilt to selfishly save their shredded
reputations. There is no question that Andrew Cuomo is responsible for the
deaths of innocent nursing home seniors.


Elise stated –


“We have only scratched the surface on the fatal actions of disgraced Former
Governor Andrew Cuomo and his corrupt administration in their criminal COVID
cover-up that cost the lives of over 15,000 vulnerable New York seniors in
nursing homes across the state. I have been at the forefront of demanding
accountability for Cuomo’s crimes from calling for independent investigations,
spearheading countless letters to HHS and the DOJ with New York GOP members,
and leading questions during a congressional interview of the disgraced
governor. On behalf of the countless families who continue to mourn the
unnecessary loss of their loved ones, disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo
will be held accountable.”

“As a representative of the hardworking families of New York, and the most
senior congressional Republican from New York in over 100 years, I have been
deeply committed to transparency and accountability on behalf of New Yorkers
who lost their loved ones in nursing homes…

Here are the indisputable facts:

On March 25, 2020, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and his Department of
Health issued now-deleted guidance that forced COVID-positive patients back
into nursing homes. The mandate required acceptance of patients regardless of a
nursing home's capacity or ability to safely accept positive cases and exposed
thousands of vulnerable residents to the virus…

House Republicans campaigned on a platform of accountability, and our actions
in this investigation reflect our commitment to delivering on that promise. By
holding Cuomo accountable for his decisions, we aim to restore public trust,
ensure ethical governance, and provide the first step in the long fight for
justice for grieving families across New York State. Our efforts in Congress
are a testament to the importance of checks and balances in government, as we
have a constitutional obligation to expose this corruption and deliver results.”

Elise Earns Key Endorsements

“I stand with Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. She has done so much to support
law enforcement, veterans, and public safety personnel and we need her in
Congress," Fulton County Sheriff Richard Giardino said. "I’ve worked alongside
her to address mental health concerns and on suicide prevention efforts for

Elise Joins Fox & Friends


On Tuesday morning, Elise joined Brian Kilmeade on Fox & Friends ahead of the
presidential debate. She discussed the strength and success of President
Trump’s America First policies in contrast to the weakness and failure of
Kamala Harris’ Far Left Democrat open border, soft-on-crime policies, and her
role in the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.

Elise Files New Ethics Complaint Against Acting Justice Merchan


On Tuesday, Elise filed a new ethics complaint with the New York State
Commission because new evidence on Kamala Harris’ most recent FEC filing shows
she hired and paid Acting Justice Juan Merchan’s adult daughter’s company. This
is a clear violation of the New York State Judicial Code of Conduct which
dictates that a judge must recuse from a case where a relative up to and
including the sixth degree has a financial interest in the outcome of the case.
Following the complaint, Justice Merchan delayed President Trump’s sentencing
past Election Day.


Elise stated –


“The same day I filed an official ethics complaint shedding new light on
Acting Justice Merchan’s egregious conflict of interest, refusing to recuse
himself despite his family’s increased financial ties to the sham Manhattan
trial, he postponed President Trump’s sentencing until after the election.

This is an incredible win for the American people whose right to choose their
president has been under attack from Far Left Democrats waging unprecedented
and illegal lawfare against President Donald J. Trump. While the Democrat
nominee didn’t earn a single primary vote, Americans have stood by President
Trump through unfounded leftist attacks, unfair treatment from liberal
stenographers in the mainstream media, and a nearly fatal assassination
attempt. American voters are smart and know President Trump is the only
candidate who can and will save America."

Elise’s Anti-CCP Legislation Passes House


On Monday, Elise secured another legislative victory when the House passed two
bills she introduced to counter the influence of the Chinese Communist Party in
the United States: theForeign Adversary Communications Transparency Act and the
Countering CCP Drones Act.


Elise stated –


“The Foreign Adversary Communications Transparency Act that I introduced will
stop Communist China from infiltrating communication infrastructures in the
United States. Communist China is using every tool at its disposal to surveil
Americans including establishing and exploiting relationships with
telecommunications companies. It is imperative to combat this malign behavior
and the House passage of my FACT Act is a step in the right direction to
achieve this goal. I look forward to working with the Senate to get it signed
into law to protect our national security.”

“The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed my legislation the
Countering CCP Drones Act, to end the drone monopoly Communist Chinese DJI held
in the U.S., protect our skies, and build the U.S. drone industrial base. For
years, the U.S. government has known that DJI presents unacceptable economic
and national security risks but no one was willing to take the necessary steps
to remove Communist Chinese spy drones from our skies. That changed today. It
is strategically irresponsible to allow Communist China to be our drone
factory. It is now critical that the Senate include this legislation in their
National Defense Authorization Act.”

House GOP Report into the Tragic Afghanistan Withdrawal


On Monday, the House Committee on Foreign Affairs concluded their
investigation of the Biden-Harris Administration’s disastrous Afghanistan
withdrawal. The Committee report illustrates how the White House was singularly
focused on leaving Afghanistan and ignored the counsel of military leaders who
predicted the resulting chaos.


Elise stated –


“The House Foreign Affairs Committee report provides detailed evidence to
support what we have known for three years: the Biden-Harris Administration
caused the deadly and catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal which resulted in the
deaths of 13 U.S. service members. To make matters worse, the investigation
also reveals that the Biden-Harris Administration has consistently lied and
covered-up key details about the withdrawal that point to their complicity.

This report is a painful reminder of what American weakness causes on the
world stage. The Taliban and other terrorist organizations now control over $7
billion worth of U.S. defense equipment, Afghanistan is experiencing a
resurgence of terrorist activity, and our adversaries from Communist China to
Russia to Iran are emboldened.

The Biden-Harris Administration chose politics and optics over the lives of
our troops. As the Representative for Fort Drum and the 10th MTN Division, the
most deployed Army Division since 9/11, I am appalled at the callous disregard
revealed in this report that the Biden-Harris Administration had for the safety
of our service members and the those that gave their life in Afghanistan to
protect the freedoms we hold close.

It is long past time that we hold the Biden-Harris Administration responsible
for this catastrophic withdrawal and this report will enable us to do so. House
Republicans and all Americans thank Chairman McCaul for his unwavering resolve
in conducting this investigation.”
