After 15 years in the making, the Richmond Flying Squirrels are here to stay!

Last week we officially broke ground on what will be the new CarMax Park in RVA’s future Diamond District. I’m so proud to have played a part in delivering this promise made to the Squirrels and our residents so long ago.

The Diamond District is the largest economic development project in Richmond’s history and will bring new jobs, new housing, and new investment to our city!

Thank you to the Squirrels, my team, City Council, and all who made this monumental day possible.
