When a kid qualifies for a wish, it’s because they’re enduring a traumatic medical journey – whether they were born with a critical illness or they received a devastating diagnosis that suddenly flipped their life upside down.
Kids receive a wish because they need the strength to persevere through tough treatments. They need the joy as a reprieve from the anxiety and fear. And they need the hope of brighter days ahead.
This was the reality for 10-year-old Yami, who is growing up with cancer. To give you more insight into how important your support is and how it directly changes the lives of wish kids, we put together an interactive journey through Yami’s story.
Thank you for all you do for kids like Yami. It really does make a world of difference.
