Oy vey! I hate to reach out like this, but I’m about to walk into an emergency budget meeting with some difficult news.

After seeing the waves of GOP attack ads against me, I OK’d new ad buys (even though we didn’t have the budget for it). And now, we don’t have the resources to keep our ads live. Can you rush $5 to help me combat the GOP’s false attacks by keeping our own ads on the air?

Unlike Trump and my opponent, Sam Brown, I’ll take grassroots support over billionaires and special interests every time. But we need a surge of donations today if we want to execute our winning strategy on the airwaves. 

The stakes are high, team. Republicans and their outside groups are pouring MILLIONS into these TV and digital ads. So if we scale back our program, my campaign risks being completely drowned out. In order to keep them going strong, we need to reach my $300,000 mid-month fundraising goal before my midnight deadline tonight.

In a race that will decide Senate control, we can’t afford to fall behind any more. So I’m humbly asking, friend: Can you rush a $5 donation before I step into this meeting so we don’t have to cut any ads?
