Every month, right around this time, we push hard to our mid-month fundraising deadline. You get more emails from us than you typically do. Our mid-month deadline is a critical bellwether we use to track our progress to our overall goal.

Right now, we’re a good bit behind. In most other months there’s a bit of runway to catch back up, but we don’t have much time left this year. The election is in seven weeks, and our final FEC deadline of the election is coming up in two weeks.

These emails are really important, because they’re one of the main ways we’re able to engage supporters like you. Ruben’s campaign is funded almost entirely by small donations to emails like these, or the texts and advertisements you see.

Not everyone donates. That’s okay.

But with time running out, we need everyone who can afford it to chip in today. These goals aren’t arbitrary. They’re what we need to raise to win.

Please. Can you chip in or whatever feels right for you as we rush towards this mid-month deadline at midnight? It all adds up when everyone is chipping in.
