YOUNG DEMOCRATS DENOUNCE DONALD TRUMP & JD VANCE'S RECKLESS AND DANGEROUS ATTACKS ON HAITIAN AMERICANS

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Donald Trump and JD Vance’s rhetoric has always been extreme and an affront to the values our nation stands for. In recent days, their spreading of baseless, racist conspiracy theories about Haitian Americans—and people of color more broadly—has proven once again that they aren’t fighting to make America great; they’re fighting to make it white.

Make no mistake—if Donald Trump returns to the Oval Office, his administration won’t stop at just hateful rhetoric. They will carry out attacks on immigrants and communities of color. Trump's "Project 2025" already calls for denaturalizing American citizens and deporting legal immigrants he deems ‘unfit’. This authoritarian plan directly calls to increase barriers to naturalization and advocates for the government to keep “continuous vetting and investigations” over legal immigrants.

No real problem facing Americans is solved by inciting a racist mob against vulnerable communities people striving for the American Dream. What America needs is a President who will fight for common sense immigration reform, without the bigotry and hate Republican nominees are championing.

America needs Kamala Harris.
