I wanted to send you just a quick note before kickoff, because as excited as I am about this afternoon’s game, I’m a little nervous about our fundraising numbers. (If you don’t want to read about why and want to skip ahead to how you can help – pitch in right here!)

Election season is in high gear – I’m sure that like me, you’re seeing plenty of political ads on TV. My opponent has given his campaign hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Like most Americans, that’s not an option for me. So I need another way to ensure we can.

My team has set a $25,000 mid-September fundraising goal, and the deadline is tonight. If we’re going to stay on track to reach voters all across northeastern Wisconsin this fall, we can’t afford to fall short.

So please, can you pitch in $5, $10, or whatever you can before our deadline tonight – or even better, before the Packers kickoff this afternoon?
