I am reaching out with a last-ditch request for a contribution to my campaign before our mid-month fundraising deadline comes to a close tonight.

Our campaign is relying on a large number of individual contributions if we're going to have the resources to win this race, and our number one source of those donations is through emails like this.

So I'm asking: Can you make a contribution before our pre-mid-month fundraising drive ends? It all really does add up when a bunch of people chip in here and there.

This race is a dead heat with a lot of voters still undecided. That's who we need to reach.

And if we don't stay on track to meet our fundraising goals, it delays us talking to crucial voters early — especially in places we need to do very well in order to win.

I still need to introduce myself to lots of voters, and being able to do that sooner rather than later could be the difference between winning and losing this race.
