I wanted to share an update on recent work.
Last week, I hosted the House Judiciary Committee in East County San Diego to discuss the Biden-Harris border crisis and its impact on Southern California. Thanks to our local leaders for testifying and the community for supporting our efforts to hold the administration accountable and secure the border once again.
Additionally, the Judiciary Committee heard from the mothers of four individuals killed by criminal illegals and drug trafficking. Watch my remarks here.
In DC this week, I joined the House Foreign Affairs Committee in its release of the final report on the 2021 disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan that led to the loss of 13 servicemembers. Watch my statement at the press conference here.
Finally, I voted to approve legislation to combat Chinese Communist Party aggression and influence at home and abroad.
