Good afternoon,

I hope you’re doing well and staying safe and healthy. It’s been another busy week in Arizona. My office is working around the clock to help constituents and ensure they have the resources they need to survive this troubling time.

President Trump is Coming to Arizona

This week, the White House announced President Trump would return to Arizona to visit a Honeywell manufacturing facility in Phoenix. Honeywell has been manufacturing millions of masks nationwide and I’m especially proud of the work of local Honeywell employees. I can’t wait to welcome President Trump back to Arizona!

Encouraging Stories

I loved this story about neighbors helping neighbors with little pantries for those in need. Watch the full video below about acts of kindness throughout our community.

This Sunday, May 3, 2020, Anthem residents are gathering to celebrate a local veteran turning 100 and another turning 65 with a car parade past their homes. If you would like to join in the fun, it will kick off in the Freddy’s parking lot (39520 N Daisy Mountain, Anthem, AZ) at 12:15 PM.

Casework Highlight

This week, we were able to provide assistance to a constituent who contacted us about getting her tax refund so she could provide for her family. She was having trouble with getting the return processed and the refund was sitting in limbo. My office was able to work with the Internal Revenue Service and the constituent received her refund of $4,105!

As always, my office is here to help. My staff located in both Surprise and Washington, D.C. are currently working remotely. However, both offices are fully operational and stand ready to assist you. Feel free to contact us via phone, 623-776-7911 or 202-225-4576, or via email by going to my website at https://lesko.house.gov/contact/.

I encourage you to visit the website and to also follow me on Twitter and like my Facebook page for up to date information about the ongoing outbreak and available resources.

May God continue to bless you and our great Nation.

Sincerely,

Congresswoman Debbie Lesko
