Did you see what Donald Trump said in a new interview?
Trump promised that he would “rescind all unspent funds” from our historic climate investments if he becomes President again. It was his most explicit threat yet to roll back the clean energy policies our SEEC members helped pass.
Trump’s comments came just hours after his former trade and economic advisor suggested that some of the provisions, like those that support U.S. factories, should be kept in place. You know it’s bad when Trump’s own people don’t agree with his extreme climate policies!
This threat is just the beginning of what Trump could do to harm our environment if he’s given the keys to White House for another 4 years. He could destroy our planet for generations.
Thanks to your help in 2022, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 118th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future.
