Friend — In a way, presidential elections are simple. We have two choices.
As I watched the debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, I was reminded once again that climate champions have an easy choice to make this November. Give me a minute to explain here.
Kamala Harris acknowledges that climate change is an urgent crisis and has a plan to tackle it as President. Donald Trump calls climate change a “Chinese hoax” and spreads wild misinformation about windmills and clean energy.
Kamala Harris pledges to use the full force of her power as President to protect our environment and promote clean energy. Donald Trump pulled the US out of the Paris climate agreement, gutted the EPA, and rolled back rules on clean air and water.
Kamala Harris was the deciding vote as Vice President on major Green New Deal priorities that passed in 2022, including our American Climate Corps. Donald Trump calls the Green New Deal a “scam” and pledges that he will “drill, baby, drill” as President.
Friend — I hope the choice here is as clear for you as it is for me.
And if you understand the importance of defeating Donald Trump and continuing the fight to pass more Green New Deal policies, I’m counting on your help.
Chip in $5 or whatever you can afford to my campaign today and help us build the movement for urgent climate action. We need to defeat climate-deniers up and down the ballot if we want to make more progress on climate change. [[link removed]]
