Greater Eligibility Under PPP for Montana Seasonal Businesses, Workers

What's New:

On Monday, I announced that President Trump acted on my request to expand the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) guidelines to offer fair relief for Montana seasonal businesses and workers, like our outfitters and guides.

Why It Matters:

This is about ensuring Montana’s summer seasonal small businesses and workers are eligible for relief during the Coronavirus pandemic. Over 10% of Montana workers are seasonal employees and the way the PPP was originally written, those workers and small businesses would’ve had a much harder time getting relief.

What's Next:

I am thankful to the Trump administration for acting swiftly on my request to expand the program to help Montana workers like our outfitters and guides. I will continue fighting to protect all of Montana's workers during this pandemic as we work to safely reopen the economy.
