John,
Thousands of you have taken our pulse poll since the presidential debate on Tuesday. You can read more below about some of the results, but here’s the bottom line: Our members are more energized about the election now than at any other point this year.
But enthusiasm doesn’t automatically translate to a win in November.
With just over seven weeks to go, and early voting in some states starting in just a few days, we all need to triple down on expanding and sustaining this movement. That’s why we’ve set a goal of contacting SEVEN MILLION voters in swing states between now and Election Day to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz and working families champions all the way down the ballot.
Can you make a contribution to WFP’s nationwide voter contact program today? The more resources we have at our disposal, the more voters we can reach, and the better our chances of success in November.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown of our survey results, John:
-
63% of you said that this week’s debate left you feeling more excited about your choice for president. That’s compared to only 14% who said the same after the Biden-Trump debate in June.
-
90% of you said you plan to vote for Kamala Harris for president, the highest number we’ve seen in any survey since she entered the race.
-
And 50% of you committed to getting more involved over the next seven weeks to help us win big in November — whether that’s through sending postcards to your friends and family, making calls and texts to voters in key states, knocking on doors in your area, or pitching in financially.
Whether we end up winning or losing on November 5th will depend on a lot of things — including how much we are able to translate this enthusiasm into action.
We cannot afford to become complacent and treat this campaign as a spectator sport — no matter what the polls say on any given day, and no matter how many more lies and outrageous comments Trump makes on social media or TV.
So please, rush a donation today to help us reach our goal of making over seven million voter contacts in key battleground states from now through November 5th.
Making a weekly donation through the election — if you’re in a position to do so — will leave an even greater impact.
And if you’re unable to give at this time, we need as many volunteers as we can get. Even a 30 minute time commitment each week will make a huge difference down the home stretch.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
P.S. We also asked WFP members in the survey to give us one or two words describing how you’re feeling about the presidential election right now. Here’s a sense of how you all collectively responded:
