The Financial Times is reporting that a conservative activist is making a $1 billion push to “crush liberal dominance” across corporate America and in the country’s news and entertainment sectors.
The money isn’t just going toward influencing political campaigns — he’s also directing huge resources into news and entertainment to propagandize as many people as he can.
The right-wing billionaire leading the charge is Leonard Leo — Chairman of the board of directors of the Federalist Society — the group that led the rightward shift on the Supreme Court under Donald Trump.

Leonard Leo spent millions building a machine to take over the Supreme Court for conservatives. Now, he’s spending $1 billion to “crush liberal dominance” in other sectors of American life
Right-wing billionaires like Leo think they can purchase American institutions without consequence.
We can’t allow him to get away with it. And the quickest way to stop him is by ensuring we elect a Democratic President, Senate, and House this November.
So we’re asking: Will you pitch in $20 or more to help elect Tim Kaine this November to do our part in securing a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate? [[link removed]]
