This is the first time a right-of-center organization has run a major issue advocacy campaign in support of IVF this cycle. POLITICO published a piece on the advocacy effort, which is running in two key House districts represented by WFW-endorsed leaders, and co-sponsors of the legislation, Reps. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) and Michelle Steel (CA-45). You can view one of the ads that Rep. Chavez-DeRemer's constituents are seeing here. Tuesday Rep. Michelle Steel (CA-45) has been a leader in Congress in taking on China, most prominently as a member of the House Select Committee on China. She also has authored legislation aimed at reducing Communist China's influence in the United States like the Stop Higher Education Espionage and Theft (SHEET) Act, which she spoke about this week. “This bill would withhold funding from universities who partner with the Confucius Institutes and other entities which spread Chinese Communist Party propaganda in our university campuses. Evidence of CCP’s influence is everywhere: They're brainwashing our students, they hijack our medical supply chains, and they flood our communities with fentanyl," said Steel in a speech from the House floor. Wednesday Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02) reaffirmed her commitment to working for the brave men and women who have served our country in uniform. During a hearing held by the Committee on Veterans' Affairs, Kiggans pressed VA leadership on ways it can improve the approval process for veterans to receive the chiropractic care they need. Thursday Rep. Young Kim (CA-40) earned the endorsement from The Orange County Register's editorial board. In it they highlight Kim's track record of bipartisanship and her willingness to take on both parties, specifically citing her criticism of tariffs as "a tax on Americans of all backgrounds" and a national debt that has exploded under both Republicans and Democrat administrations.   In The News   The Daily Iowan: Miller-Meeks Introduces Refundable Tax Credit For IVF AP: North Dakota Judge Strikes Down The State’s Abortion Ban AP: Libertarian Candidates For Congress Will Be Left Off Iowa Ballots After Final Court Decision     Stay up to date on the latest by following us on our socials.
