John,
This election will be decided in a handful of swing states, likely by just tens of thousands of votes.
In 2016, the swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania were decided by a combined 77,744 votes.1,2,3
In 2020, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia were decided by just 42,918 votes.4,5,6
But since 2020, voting has gotten more difficult for millions of voters with 18 states adding or stiffening voter ID requirements meant to keep communities of color, low-income communities, LGBTQ+ people, and students from voting.
That’s why we launched our Vote for Human Needs campaign―to ensure voters across the country know what’s at stake and have what they need to vote.
Through our frequent, virtual letter-writing parties, we’re reaching infrequent voters in the swing states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
We’re connecting our allies on the ground in swing states with the resources they need to ensure voters from vulnerable communities have the proper voter ID they’ll need to cast their ballot.
We’re generating voter guides, which are being distributed by service providers to constituents in key communities on issues ranging from the care economy to housing, nutrition, healthcare, and more. And, just this past week, we hosted a webinar with registrants from 300 nonprofit organizations on how to run effective nonpartisan Get Out the Vote campaigns.
With ballots already being mailed to voters, and Election Day just over seven weeks away, will you rush a donation today to power our Vote for Human Needs campaign?

We have an opportunity in this election to make historic investments in our communities and our future. Or we can allow cynical politicians to continue to divide us through xenophobic lies, race-baiting, and hate.
I know you’re with us. Let’s keep fighting for our democracy and our future all the way through Election Day.
